Hobbies

Dinosaurs, reefs
& deep time.

The curiosity that drives the work doesn't clock out. Mostly it points backwards — a few hundred million years, give or take.

A large detailed LEGO city build

Building & robotics

LEGO cities

Since age three I've built 350+ LEGO sets, including 15+ advanced cityscapes. Through Roboknights at DPS R. K. Puram I taught robotics with LEGO, ran a 10K-view YouTube channel, and built a LEGO lending library across Delhi NCR — turning a childhood habit into a small engine for getting other kids into robotics.

Palaeontology

The Jurassic, up close

Equal parts science and unfinished childhood obsession. I read deep on the Late Jurassic — the Morrison Formation, the giant sauropods, the long argument over warm-blooded theropods — and treat every natural-history museum as a pilgrimage. I also hunt fossils along coastlines and quarry spoil — ammonites, belemnites, the occasional shark tooth — learning to read what each layer is telling me. My favourite find is a palm-sized ammonite roughly 150 million years old: a small, perfect record of an ocean that no longer exists.

Manas Sood snorkelling

Underwater

Snorkelling & scuba

A licensed PADI diver and seasoned swimmer. I've dived the Great Barrier Reef, Mauritius, Okinawa, Half Moon Bay, and Sri Lanka — and palaeontology aside, the reef is the closest thing to time travel I've found: an entire living system you can only visit by holding your breath.

Electronic keyboard

I hold a diploma in electronic keyboard and music theory from Trinity College London, and won a scholarship at the Delhi School of Music to study under Mr Akshay R. Saxena, a Cannes Film Festival–awarded artist. I've performed for audiences of 500+ across two concerts.
