Research on financial equality for small businesses and how people decide what makes a fair deal, at the University of Delhi and USC.

At the University of Delhi, I worked with Dr. Aastha Ahuja Khan to study taxation and financial equality among small businesses. I analysed the financial health of more than 200 MSMEs and how competition from larger firms affected them. We submitted policy suggestions to the Indian government.

At USC, I worked with Prof. Joao Ramos and Marshall’s Behavioural Research Lab to study how people negotiate and divide money. Across 262 participants, equal splits were the most common offer. People often rejected small positive offers, giving up money themselves when they thought the deal was unfair.
